Tjaart van der Walt is the co-founder of TymeBank, Africa's first fully digital, branchless bank and one of the continent's biggest fintech success stories. Under his leadership, Tyme Group has attracted high-profile backers including African Rainbow Capital and, most recently, Nubank, Latin America's largest digital bank, which invested $250 million, valuing the group at over $1.5 billion.
